Swim Lessons- Fall 2022
Kiwanis Swim Lessons continued this fall with 49 students swimming at Wilmington College's pool. Wilmington College Swim Team worked as instructors in teaching students valuable, life-saving skills. It was incredible to see how much the students grew in confidence and skill over 12 lessons. Our next series of lessons will begin March 2023 at Wilmington College.

Thank you to those organizations who made these swim lessons affordable for all students: Dairy Queen- Wilmington, Smith-Feinke Minton Insurance, Busam Ford, Clinton Animal Care Center, Uptown Printing, Vital Fitness, Groves Tire & Service, MELS Services Inc. Wilmingoton Dental Arts, & Thobaben Family

Swim Lessons- Summer 2022
Summer 2022 was our first series of lessons toward our goal of affordable year-round swim lessons for Clinton County Residents. Kiwanis and CCYC sponsored 12 lessons at the Sabina Pool over the span of 6 weeks. We were able to accommodate 57 participants-- no child was turned away due to lack of funds. We're looking forward to sponsoring lessons in the fall, winter and spring at the Wilmington College Pool.

Bike Rodeo- May 14, 2022
Each year, for bike safety month, the Kiwanis of Wilmington Club organizes a Bike Safety Rodeo. We work with other community organizations including Aktion Club, CCYC, the Fire Department, the Police Department, Wilmington Bicycle Club, Wilmington College and other members who want to help and learn.
Participants go through a series of stations to learn different bike safety and traffic skills. Upon completion, they receive a certificate and a snack!
